The boys at 538 did a fairly informative write-up of the 8 different national tracking polls following the Presidential race. This is where they shine.
Their electoral analysis and explanation of sometimes hard-to-understand statistics-speak is very good.
When they go off the reservation--away from their niche, as it were--they turn into just another Daily Kos diarist--albeit at a different web address.
