Premature IED

From the, "you can't make this stuff up" file, a Mullah, prepping a bomb (presumably for coalition forces) blew up himself and his sons:
A LANDMINE blew up in the home of a religious cleric in southern Afghanistan, killing the mullah, two of his sons and two other men who had been preparing an attack, police said today.
Ace of Spades notes:
Coalition forces have reported "a significant uptick in dramatic irony" in the Helmand province lately, and called this latest incident "as worrisome as it is hilarious."
Apparently our efforts to infiltrate terrorist training centers in Afghanistan/Pakistan and teach "how (not) to build a bitchin' IED" are finally bearing fruit. Here's to hoping for a few more premature IED's.

Jake, I don't want to be labeled a "terrorist" lover, but what is "hilarious" about people blowing themselves up? As long as you are in the wishing mood, why not wish for an end to violence, instead of more IEDs blowing up and killing men and their children, even if you do see them as personal enemies? The proclaimed Christian in you should be praying for an end to violence, not the destruction of your characatured enemies and their families.

Your assuming the sons are innocent. Are you sure about that? 15 might be young in the United States but in Afghanistan that's old enough to volunteer for the suicide bomber corps. I cant speak for lybbert but I would rather have them kill themselves than kill our troops.

DMZ- I said nothing of the innocence of the sons because it doesn't matter. If you're going to wish for more IEDs to blow up and kill enemies of the Troops, why not just wish for there to be no conflict in the first place and no need for IEDs. To wish for more death for your enemy betrays Christian values in my opinion.
