BYUSA Election Final

As we wrote yesterday, Adam Ruri and Chance Basinger won the recent BYUSA election. According to this article from the Daily Universe, voter turnout (read: logging on to Route Y and clicking a box) for this election was the highest ever.

Winning with 54% of the votes (3327), according to our sister, Adam and Chance (click here to see their website) won at least in part because they didn't harass students the way some of the other candidates did: "who are you going to vote for? huh? huh? vote for me!"

Our goal for this campaign (which we wrote in our original post about this election) was simply that the election end with a voter-decided election and not as many recent ones have--with one candidate dropping out because of rules or Honor Code violations.

Mission accomplished. And, again, congratulations to Adam and Chance, you're popular.

I think your last sentence should be changed to - congratulations, you're popular, you have freakishly white teeth, and you're wearing matching ties.

Matching ties? Members of BYU Men's choir?

why so harsh against byusa? yes..extremely white teeth, yes matching ties, but may i ask..those who commented..in what way do or did you serve while at byu?

In response to your question of what I did to serve while at BYU....I basically just took the signs advice...."Enter to learn, go forth and serve." So much like the figure-head choir members who won the election, I didn't do much.

Freakishly white teeth. Why do these guys look so familiar?

Oh no, DMZ....you can make fun of them if not. Easily.

And honestly with the ties...Who were the Ad Wizards that came up with this one. Are those in any way school colors? And I really don't know what BYUSA is, but can it be that much fun? Dude on the right (stage left) looks as if he just got a peek at the BYU Cheer Squad practicing their pike position. I mean he is happy!!!

We wanna hear why the previous candidates were dropped due to Honor Code violations...

Maybe they are "popular" because they are kind to others and take a genuine interest in the lives of those around them. Maybe they are "popular" because they don't put other people down (especially not complete strangers). Just some thoughts.
