Obama's 50-State Strategy: Good Luck With That

Open fighting among the nutroots, state Democratic leaders, and the media (but I repeat myself) over Obama's "game changing" campaign that was supposed to re-write the map. His campaign of clever twentysomethinghipsters is taking flak from long-time Democratic strategists for wasting money in places where it was never going to do any good (read: help him win in November). Per the Daily Telegraph:

The Sunday Telegraph has learned that senators, governors and union leaders who have experience of winning hard-fought races in swing states have been bombarding Obamas campaign headquarters with telephone calls offering advice. But many of those calls have not been returned.

A senior Democratic strategist, who has played a prominent role in two presidential campaigns, told The Sunday Telegraph: "These guys are on the verge of blowing the greatest gimme in the history of American politics. They're the most arrogant bunch I've ever seen. They won't accept that they are losing and they won't listen."

Ah, schadenfreude, I've missed you.

We watched Dennis Miller last night on the O'Reilly Factor. Dennis weighed in on three ways Eliot Spitzer--Client #9--can get himself out of this mess:

"First off, he can say that he wanted to bring her down on Amtrak and quite frankly, didn't think she'd ever arrive. Play the Amtrak card.

Second, he should say he thought she was a super-delegate and he was courting her.

And thirdly, if he really wants to get back in the good graces of the Democratic party--he's a rich guy--he should offer to pay for the Florida recount."

Obama's Somali Dress: Harbinger Of Things To Come?

Mirroring, in physical terms, the political battle being waged between Hillary and Barack, two brother's in law fought, with the Clinton supporter eventually stabbing the Barack supporter in the stomach. At least it wasn't in the back, right?

Yeah, dems, we're SO jealous of your two awesome, awesome candidates.

After 16 or so years of seeing the Clinton attack machine bully conservatives (to the shameful delight of their party), we suppose we feel the same way about Hillary's attacks on Barack as we do when we hear of a terrorist accidentally blowing himself up with his own bomb.

Isn't it great to see one of the Clintons complain about media bias? Incidentally, the Clinton team is right, the press is unabashedly backing their candidate, Barack. Just like they would do if it were Hillary vs. McCain in the general election (salute).
